The brewery has some very steep stairs and floors may be wet or slippery – so sturdy footwear is recommended. Also due to the nature and age of our building, disabled access is extremely limited.
BREWERY TOURS
Why not try a guided tour of Wigan Brewhouse?
Experience great ales, company & views of Wigan on the Wigan Brewhouse tour.
Cost £20.00 per person (minimum of 15 people).

Tours start from 7:00pm (earlier starts can be accommodated if required).

Closing time is 10:00pm.
Group Tours:
Available Monday – Saturday and Sunday by arrangement.
In that time you’ll get a beer when you arrive, then we’ll go around the brewery, there’ll be more beer, you’ll see how the beer’s made, look at various malts, smell some hops, drink some beer from the Conditioning Tanks (you can’t beat beer from the tanks), learn about Wigan Brewhouse and beer in general; drink some more beer and then we’ll go back to the bar and drink the Wigan Brewhouse beer on tap (that we haven’t already drunk).
Tours include a choice of either pizza or sandwiches. (Vegetarian alternatives are available). Those tours who don't require food will get an extra 20 minutes in the bar.
Tours must be booked in advance and can be arranged for 15 to 36 people – a 50% deposit is payable on booking. Final confirmation of numbers is required a minimum of one week prior to the tour date.
(We are able to take Debit/Credit Card payments).
Individual or Smaller Group Bookings:
The first Friday of every month is generally made available for individual bookings so if you’d like to book a brewery tour for yourself, for you and a partner, for a small group of friends or as a gift, simply contact us for tickets.
Numbers for these dates will be limited to 30 people per tour and will be strictly on a first come basis. Individual or small group tours enjoy the same arrangements as Group Tours.
